A while ago, students of the Rubengera Technical Secondary School were invited to participate in a provincial exhibition of their works. With a mobile carpentry workshop and an information stand they were able to demonstrate what they have learned. Promptly they were chosen as the best example of innovation. This was of course an enormous encouragement for the students, especially when it turned out that they could also take part in the national exhibition in Kigali as a reward. And there they were even chosen first from 54 participating schools. What a great surprise for the students and the entire school team. It is a nice testimony that the school, which has a clear Christian profile, is gaining national fame in this way. There are three deaconesses working in the team and one sister is studying woodwork herself. Enclosed photo of Sister Claudine appeared in a national newspaper.
